Don bought us a pizza for dinner and have half of it left for tomorrow.  :)  I got up this a.m. at 5:15.  We left the house at 8:20.  Got to the office a little before 11.  We are so happy to never see that side of town again.  Ha ha ha!   BTW...I weighed 138.5 with my clothing and shoes on.  :)  Take care!  xxx

We had Wendy's for lunch (burgers, fries, and drinks) then stopped at Red Rock Casino.  It's a huge casino and when walking further into the building, we noticed the slot machines were dark.  Thinking just some were being replaced we kept walking...and they were all dark.  They had some sort of electrical issue for sure.  So we walked back to the area that was lit and slot machines were working....and won!  Don said they probably did that to keep the people in there playing.  All in all it was a good day for us, but had to wait in a line at the Service Desk to get the tickets cashed out.  The ride home was very nice.  I'd taken pictures on the way up and back and will post them later tonight or tomorrow.  Oh, they have a donut shop at Red Rock called Randy's Donuts!  :)  Even had t-shirts.  Would have bought one but the machines were not working.  :(  Can't imagine how much $$$$$ they lost while the problem was going on.

Hi, Janet!  Am I ever glad today's trip to the doctor is OVER!  Out GPS (gal) had us going in circles on the freeway.  We both said....we've been in location already...!  So, Don found a spot to reload the information.  The Zip Code was different than the one first typed in and that might have made the difference.  We finally made it and were there early.  Dr. Russ' assistant is so thorough and nice.  I've lost 5 pounds!  I wasn't trying that hard but tried cutting back on snacks at night, etc.  All of our bloodwork came out good, and he said my osteopenia wasn't that bad to consider medicine.  Blood pressure was fine for us both.  The best news is that Dr. Russ is going to be located in Henderson before we would have our next appointment.  Yay!  We were from that area, so it's just a trip over the mountain and no freeways.  :)  Whew!  He will let us know when that happens.  We are both so happy, as we thought this might be the last trip up to see him.  :(
