❤   thank you for your visit!  ツ  A lovely day today here.  George is having a hard time adjusting to sleeping at the RIGHT time here.  Poor mummy and daddy are exhausted.  He's a very happy chappie though. We're having a family get together tomorrow in the afternoon.

Lilith watered the Pink Cap Mushroom, and spotted a White Mouse feeding on the Bird Mix!

Tomorrow is the grand opening of the Pink Donut shop in the Pahrump Nugget.  If you happen to find one of the three tickets in the donuts you purchase, you get a year's donuts free (said Bob).  Told Don I don't think we want that, as it's hard enough to keep the weight off but will most likely buy some tomorrow.  They are having some entertainment, so we'll probably go.  It's something to do!  Take care & I'd help you weed if we lived closer.  It's actually fun to me!  :)  xx

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for the Wren!  I've only had one pair of glasses that bothered me.  They were made at Walmart and the doctor checked the prescription when I was in and mentioned the problem.  He said the prescription was good and maybe it was the shape of the lenses that made some distortion, so I don't wear them at all.  Plus recently I noticed they have a crack in the lens.  So the ones on my head right now are probably 17 years old...maybe older.  I take good care of my glasses.  :) 

Be on the lookout for some cool jigsaws tomorrow when you're out.  The one I'm working on is fun.  Today we went to Walmart for a meat thermometer (updated one...:) and Don needs two little round batteries for his volt meter.  He is going to check my stereo that stopped working.  It's only a year and a half old.  It was a Christmas gift from QVC.  Sad that things don't work very long anymore.  He fixed a little record player Sandy got for me a few years back.  So I'm listening to my old Monkees albums while working on the jigsaw.  Anyway, they have the batteries BEHIND GLASS.  It's weird the things they choose to "glass up".  They didn't even have the battery he needs.

I'm ready to take to puzzle apart and pack it away to save for our family puzzler. I keep thinking I can find some spare time to work on it but that's not happening.  I have 3 more waiting in the closet and they seem to have patterns that are easier to see and put together.
Your weather sounds great. Summer heat has set in here. I'm walking after sunset when the day has cooled a bit but it's still humid and unpleasant.
Hope your gardening continues to go well. Do you have roses - a flower I associate with England.
