I know, this is getting ridiculous!
Just tell them everything. That you’ve tried every shape in the middle for both jellybeaks and Sugarsnouts and none worked to bring yellow or green.

Also, maybe start writing down when a shape/color brings anything? Then when you’re on that candy you’ll know what shape you need?

In other words, you need all three shapes and colors correct to attract violet. But each position has to be correct to attract
Orange
Green
Indigo
That’s how you know they are all correct and Violets will show.

No, the middle correct shape attracts yellow, green when it’s the correct shape and color.
So, if you’ve tried every shape in the middle and I know you’ve left them in plenty long enough, and no yellow or green jelly has visited, then something is wrong.
Each candy position when correct attracts . So,
First position candy when shape is correct attracts red, when the correct shape and color it’ll attract orange.
Middle shape when correct attracts yellow, when it’s the correct color it’ll attract green
Third shape when correct attracts blue, when it’s the correct color it’ll attract indigo l
When you have all three shapes and colors correct…you get orange, green and indigo, then Violet.

Have you tried the round and the triangle? I think you have tried the triangle too? So round? Maybe?
