Thanksgiving is Thursday, so that's why the food purchase (turkey, etc.).  I'm glad we're staying in that day.  Will bring back good memories of Thanksgivings in the past.  Dad (step) would always fix such a tremendous amount of food for all the families and have us over there until they got older.  Then I took over having people at my house.  Christmas was always fun.  I'd make Christmas crackers for the kids and fill them with little goodies.  All the guys would be watching the football game while the women folk would be cleaning up the dishes and putting leftovers away.  Mom never did have a dishwasher her entire life.  WE were the dishwashers.  LOL  Oh, the good old days.  ???  :) 

I might go in and take a look at the jigsaw puzzle.  This is a good time of day before it gets dark.  Take care of yourself!  I do think you probably caught something at the dental office, don't you?  :(  Hope your door gets fixed soo.  You don't want it swelling up getting wet by the letter box.  xxx

Hi, Janet!  I think you're getting better, even though you have another issue (mouth).  If it's not one thing, it's the other.  Yes, we have your weather.  It's not rained since this a.m., but everything is still water-logged, and the sky is dreary.  Maybe tomorrow will be sunny?

Randy was sick this morning.  :(  His tummy was grumbling and I thought he was licking something but was throwing up in the den.  :(  Clean up wasn't that bad...then he yakked a couple of times out back in the rocks. 

We went to Walmart to get some things to fix for Thanksgiving.  At first we thought we'd eat at Denny's, but decided with Randy and the way he is, better play it safe and have the meal here.  So, we bought a small turkey breast and stuffing, and green beans, gravy, etc.  He might pick up some cranberries.  I like making my own sauce.  The store was packed with things for Christmas, too, and lots of people shopping.  I tried to look happy so people wouldn't mow me down.  LOL  Got Randy a toy....a moose with a squeaker.  He loves it and is resting on it right now.  He did eat some rice/salmon I made for him this morning, but not until we got back from Walmart.
