Were you able to see Auntie today?  She's a busy lady like you are and likes to get out and about.  Does she still drive?  I should drive more.  Seems I only get out with Don and he drives.  When I was young, gas stations used to come out and fill up your car, wash windows, etc., but now it's a do-it-yourself world.  I should fill up the Jeep next time, huh!  When Don and I first married, I wasn't used to doing that but learned quickly I was going to take charge and did that and filled up gasoline containers for the lawn mower, too! Now I'm back to being "the passenger".

Hi, Janet!  Workers are over at Rowdy's today.  Not sure what they are doing.  Thought maybe they were going to work on repairing the block wall.  They're working around the pool area.  Randy will be anxious all day now.  Other than that, all is well. 

It's overcast today.  Probably a good day for picking weeds out front?  Maybe I'll work on my bathroom today.  We'll see.  The pumpkin pie is a memory as of today.  Oh, this afternoon I'm going to make peanut butter cookies.  Don's been requesting them and he bought a big jar of peanut butter.  Hint, hint!  Homemade are much better than store-bought.
