Sounds like you were able to enjoy, love that you get to be outside reading, gardening and relaxing. Ahh, summer joys!
My hubby also enjoys watching a good thunderstorm.😅 We have had some pretty great days here, bit of rain in the night, warm days, just lovely!
Found the first caterpillar of the season to rear. Daylilies are the stars of the show in my gardens and they are beginning to bloom, so enjoy seeing their familiar blooms year after year.

Late on here today .
Sorry you had a meh day , you're allowed 🤗
It was a scorcher yesterday  , already 29° today .
The Puppers went to a nearby ghyll today ~ all trees & shrubs , shade & a stream . Molly doesn't mind a paddle but not deep . She has only short little legs 🥰
Her itching doesn't seem as bad , 2 baths yesterday .
I'm just relaxing today , set up in the garden with both umbrellas up on my big comfy lounger .
