Oooooo! Good Luck with the Crane, that one scares me! The way I say it, whatever works! I don't care who's been sprinkling or for how long in my garden, if it gets to within 10-15 seconds of "time up" I'm watering! Good for you on getting your own trim rather than it being missed. Yeah, I'm not going to miss this crazy stalking that's for sure!
