Good night splash-- laundry all done and put away,didn't get around to a nap until it was too late or I would never sleep tonight.My steak must have smell like good food as I had my cat begging for some of the steak and shrimp but he never really managed to make me feel guilty enough to give him some. Now I will finish the gardens and get off to bed--read for a little bit but I am certainly tired enough to sleep but of course as you know sometimes the body has other ideas. Have a good night

Friday evening sprinkles after a much easier day here at home.
Managed to watch cycling from Italy whilst doing a bit of tidying and general bits and bobs...so pleased for Danish cyclist Jonas Vingegaard who had a superb day...
My garden guests have munched their way through various seed, nuts and suet mix...feeders having been re-stocked twice! Looking after my wee beasties here is just as hard as the guesthouse days 😉 What a carry on 😂
Looks like I'm open for business with red squirrels, pine marten, voles, feathered beasties and forest meeces!! Haha x

Old Man Turkey isn't with me this time. As most of you know, I'm away visiting my eldest son at his newly purchased home. It's a nice 1980s 3 bedroom in a quiet area. But, dear Lord, I must get a battery for his chirping smoke alarm 😳
He treated us to an escape room yesterday evening. We went over the 1 hour time limit and asked for a lot of clues to help hahaha. Not our usual confident selves this time around 🤦🏽‍♀️ afterwards we chose board games and card games from a very extensive games library while enjoying a beverage. Girls had hot choc and I had peppermint tea.
Everyone is quietly sleeping now. Well there's that chirping smoke alarm....
Anyway, while my son goes to a cash job later today (currently 3:30am Sunday), I'll take my daughter and granddaughter thrift shopping for the day 👍🏽 I did want to see the Mandalorian movie as well (yes a Star wars geek) but got out voted 🥺
It's been close to 3 months since I last saw my granddaughter so it doesn't matter what we do, I'm going to make the most of it 🥰
