Hello Jennifer, TY for the Golden Dragon and PD. 'At the Foot of the Cherry Tree.' is the correct title. Apologies for my error. I hope that you enjoy the book. One thing that stood out for me was when the couple got married in Japan they had a huge battle getting Cherry into Australia because back then we had The White Australia Policy. Which is crazy as Australia was taken from our Indigneous people. Also the Chinese and Afghans also played a HUGE role in our history. When I was a child I vaguely recall that term being bandied around but too young to understand. Thank all goodness that the policy no longer exists. I really should research that policy as to who, how and why was it implemented. Crazy White supremacy! Which reminds me of the USA now under that mad man Trump. ....... On a Lighter note I am having a day like you had. Washing, etc. although not dog walking. Enjoy your new day!
