I did a bit more of the puzzle when I got home and should finish it tomorrow, I keep thinking I've done it before but as it came from Maggie's maybe its because I remember helping her with in the past. I don't mind and it's been great fun. I need to get another started for when she gets here Friday.

I'm thinking of asking Tessa if I can put her on my car insurance. I don't know if it's true but I've been told if you have someone younger on your policy it can make it cheaper. How that works I don't know but it might be worth finding out. My current quote is $470 for the year and I've about 35 years of making no claims. I must ask Sheila how much her granddaughter's is, at 22 probably more than the car is worth, it's crazy. She's taking her test on Thursday and I've worked out it's cost her somewhere near $2450 to learn to drive, I do hope she passes.

Hi Janet, it's not been so good today we've had lots of cloud and the wind's moved round to the north east which makes it cold. This afternoon I needed a cardigan when I left Sheila's and although it's supposed to improve until the wind changes direction no one's going to be sunbathing.

I went to the hall and looked through the puzzles. At first glance I thought wow they've got a lot of wasjigs then I realised they were the ones I'd taken there. They also have a lot of books and I bought a few to take to the nuns, light 'murder mysteries' which they both like.

I'm glad Don finally got his sticker, I'm driving around with my licence renewal form in the car. I want to get a receipt of posting in case it gets lost in the post. Unfortunately the post office closed early today and won't reopen until Tuesday as it's the May day bank holiday on Monday. I'm not too bothered as I have until my birthday to do it.
