❤   thank you for your visit!  ツ  We are enjoying some lovely, sunny days here.  I hope it lasts for weeks and weeks.  Disappointing dentist appointment today and will have to go back again next week.  Ugh.  I hope it's finished one day.  lol  I bought shrimp to put in my salad today as a treat.  I'm looking forward to dinner.  Elliot is going to make 'hamburger helper' and he's quite excited about that so I'll have a salad.  I hope you are well. xo

I did wonder if it was the morning light that wakes Randy as it gets light so much earlier this time of the year, sunrise here is 5:10 since we're right on the east coast we get it first. I have black out blinds but they don't really work and it amazes me if I have all the lights out how many red stand by lights are on all sorts of things like the fan, the TV, the router, the broadband box, plus electric clocks the list is endless. If I get up in the night I don't need any other lights to see my way about. Maybe it's time Don took Randy in with him so your neck can recover, yes that's definitely a good excuse, no I mean a good idea. LOL

The boiler worked OK today and I do have it insured for repairs. However the government are saying in 2 years gas boilers will have to be replace by air source heat pumps. I have no idea where they think people will get the money to buy them, even with a government subsidy they are nearly 3 times more expensive than a gas boiler. I did get a quote from the gas board a couple of years ago so need to bite the bullet and call them to see how much it's gone up since then.

I think I mentioned Daryn was away yesterday, well he came home this morning and later I saw on his FB page a picture of him in a suit, it looks like he went to a wedding, not his own I hasten to add. lol

Hi Janet, It's been a rubbish day, the temp was nearly 50 but it felt like 40 due to the north wind and it rained all the time I was out. I know we need the rain but I wish it would come at night then I wouldn't get damp. lol

I had a chat with Maggie this morning, she's dog sitting for her son's dog so will try and get here early Monday as she'll need to leave by 5. Her hubby is playing bowls and isn't fond of the dog so she can't rely on him to care for it however there is a lady dog walker who'll visit him lunch time. The dog I mean not the husband! She'll leave here about 5 at the latest. I've had instructions that I may sort the puzzle, do the edge and then stop. I'm wondering if I can get it done and start another, probably not!

I did the shopping but decided to leave the library until tomorrow. I also need to go to the post office as I've still to post my driving licence form and want a receipt so I have proof of posting. Apparently a lot seem to get 'lost in the post'. I reckon it's a lot get lost in their office.
