Good morning, Janet. We had an earthquake once years ago that we all felt. Woke us right up. My kids were still little and they both ran into our bedroom petrified!! We’ve had more that have not been felt. We only knew because the news told us!! We have quite the weekend ahead of us. Bitter cold…polar vortex for Saturday and then a big snowstorm for Sunday that’s showing 9-12 inches of snow minimum…yikes!! I’m definitely over the cold and snow. I hope you have a great day 💜

Does your Wholesome Wellness say what the ingredients are? When I looked it up they sell such a lot of different things and I'm wondering if it's some sort of collagen.

I spoke with Maggie earlier this evening and she should be coming as it's not supposed to rain much. She'll only stay until about half past 3 as sunset is about half 4 and she'll only have about another 10 miles to go by then. I've been a bit naughty and done a few chunks of the puzzle, not that she'll mind.

Yesterday the library didn't have my book in then today I got an email to say it was there, typical. Never mind I'll collect it Friday.

No I've never taken a pine cone apart, great idea for using them for the roof. I do have some that fall from the trees at the top of the bank in in my garden. I take them to Tess and Sam when they're making their Christmas wreaths. Mine are quite small and they collect a lot from somewhere near where they live and they're huge.

It rained first thing and when it cleared I spent ages in the garden. I removed some dead stuff and weeded about 3 quarters of the way round. Alan says to leave the dead things as they protect the new shoots on the plants so I left some and just remove the dead plants that had completely disappeared, hopefully they'll come up again in the spring.

Hi Janet, reading your bit about the drawers made me think about some of mine. You're not alone, I think to myself tomorrow I'll do one and then one a day, by day 2 I've had enough! There is also the odd thing about emptying cupboards and drawers, you get rid of a pile of things and when you put the rest back they hardly fit, so how did everything get in there originally. LOLOL I have to say when I cleared the drawer in my lounge I found some cards and letters Sam and Tessa had sent me when they were little. I've put them back and when I'm no longer here they'll find them. All the things from my dad's days in the army I've given to the girls, they included his medals and a diary he kept during the war which is fascinating. It's about the D Day, landing on the beach and his journey through France.
