I had a tidy round and steamed cleaned the kitchen and bathroom floors and did a 'little' of the puzzle. I'm going to be good now and leave it alone. If I get bored I can always do a little one on one of the inserts of my porta puzzle, they take a 500 piece puzzle. lol

I won't go far tomorrow just to the bakery to get a fresh cream cake for Friday. I would normally go on the day Maggie's coming but as she's going to be early I wouldn't like to be out when she arrives. I keep meaning to give her a key for such a possibility and I've got it out ready, hopefully I'll remember.

I'm in the middle of cooking my dinner, tempura prawns, chips and peas. I'm a bit late but my whole day has been late since I didn't wake up until half past 8. lol
I'd better go and save it before they burn.

Hi Janet, it's been another chilly day with northerly winds making it feel cold, I even put my heating on and when i spoke to Sheila she said she'd had hers on all day too.

Have you got the chair pad sorted. I finally phoned the gas people to get a new quote and she said someone may come round or they'll just look at the last one and post me one. They're very keen for the work at this time of the year.

Sorry to hear the neck is still playing up, I think as we get older it's easy to imagine all sorts of things when a problem doesn't just go away.

I went to the library and returned my book and visited to post office to send my driving licence renewal off. When I asked the man on the desk for the proof he looked at the address and just nodded yes.
