Thanks for the elephant, Janet. Layne has been feeling a bit better. Her eye has a lot less swelling and parts of the bruising is starting to turn yellow. She ate a bit more today so her appetite is improving. Our weather is better than it has been. A little warmer and some light rain which is helping to get rid of the snow but we have another small storm headed our way tomorrow night into Saturday. Oh dear, I hope you don’t get any snow. I would think that your state is not prepared for that and most people wouldn’t know how to drive in it unless they are from a state that gets snow regularly in the winter. I’m thinking even a dusting would paralyze the whole area. Yikes!! I hope it warms up for you soon!!💜

By then I was totally damp and fed up so I came home and did a bit to the puzzle. I want to go out tomorrow to get some bird food and the local paper so will try the surgery again before I leave and if I have no joy I'll call in on them on my way.

I saw the pictures of the little house, it's so pretty and cute. I left a little comment!

I've not seen Daryn so I guess with all the rain he's given up the idea of sorting the back garden, either that or he's working on something at Kath's.

Hi Janet. it's been a horrid damp day, it's not stopped drizzling although it's not been quite as cold, we got to 40 which was better than yesterday. It's a good job I did the garden then as there's no way I'd have been out there today. I had lots of little jobs to do. I returned the router, posted a birthday card, went to the pharmacy as they owe me some tablets which still haven't come in. I then went to the surgery to see if they will prescribe them in a different strength. The receptionist was very nice but said I'd need to phone them and speak to the prescription department. For goodness sake why couldn't she put a call through to them. I soon learnt why, I went to the car and phoned them only no one answered. If I get no help tomorrow I'll go back and make a fuss.
