I'd best be getting to bed I've just realised it's gone one, my body can't get used to putting the hour forward and thinks it midnight! So did my car when I looked at the time on the dash board I thought I was getting things done quickly then realised it was an hour behind. Oops.

I spent most of the afternoon with the puzzle and have done about a third. I've to go to the library tomorrow but should have time to get a bit more done. Also I may visit auntie with her gifts , that's if she's at home, if not I'll take them Wednesday morning on her birthday.

You spoke about a garage sale, they do a garden sale here in May and I've been thinking about joining in, however it does need to be good weather as I'm not sitting out there in the cold. I'll check up the date and think about what I could get rid of. Sam spoke about doing a garage sale but never got round to it. I told her if she ever does do it let me know and I'll go over and give her a hand.

I had a message from her this morning she'd seen a small sofa for sale on 'gumtree', it's a local selling site. I knew immediately why she'd contacted me as it was my cousin David and Karen who were selling it. I'd seen it on her FB page a couple of weeks ago. Anyway Sam said she'd tried to get in touch but had no success so would kind auntie do something. I guessed Karen was at work but do have her on What's App so sent a message which she quickly replied to and I passed on Sam's phone number. Later this morning I was in the supermarket and had a tap on my shoulder and Karen was standing behind me. She said she'd sold Sam the sofa and Jordan was picking it up this afternoon. Karen was so pleased as she had new furniture delivered today.

Hi Janet, I finally found a lovely card for auntie and I also found some Chocolate Florentines which are a favourite of hers and usually only available here at Christmas time. They had them as a special in Lidl and although quite expensive for what they are she'll be enjoying them in a couple of days.

I'd like to say I've been busy but it's been so cold only 40ish and feeling so much colder I decided to do the shopping and come home. I did get some laundry done and dusted the lounge and vacuumed through then settled down with the puzzle. I've just looked at my steps for the day and found I've done 8000 so I must have been doing something. Isn't that just like a woman doing all those little jobs that seem to take an age then you wonder what you've been up to.
