Poor Don what a wasted journey, I hope the girl is right about the local police knowing how things are and don't fine him. Why are they in such a muddle?

I also did some washing, let's face it I'm always doing washing. People think I put my washer on a couple of times a week, no, I usually do a small wash most days and a bigger one for bedding and towels. My place is so small I don't need dirty washing mounting up.

I have a handbag to take to the wedding at the end of next month but need to find some shoes or sandals to wear. I think tomorrow I must go through the cupboard and see what I can find or it will need to be a trip to the shoe shop.

Hi Janet, we've had our hottest day of the year and the hottest April day for years, however here on the coast it only reached 63 again. To be honest I'm quite happy with that I don't want the 70 plus that everyone else is getting, I suppose you could say I'm just difficult. lol

I went out to get the birds their seed and the shelves were empty. I asked one of the people who worked there why and she said that they never get deliveries on Tuesday nights so I'll need to go back tomorrow or my birds will think I've put them on a diet.

I've made a start on the Car Boot puzzle I think it was one Maggie brought with her last time she visited. That reminds me she'll be here again next Friday so I'll need to finish it as she'll not want to do it twice.

Good morning Janet. We broke a record yesterday with a high temperature of 87 degrees. A storm rolled in around dinner time with wind snd rain. Woke up to 42 degrees and cold…brrr. It’s back to winter for us again. I hope we are done with this crazy weather soon!! Not much planned today. I’m going to make a banana bread because I have a few bananas that are over ripe. It’s a good stay in and read day. Today is Larry’s first day on his own. The guy he’s replacing has been training him and yesterday was his last day. I hope you enjoy your day. Happy Wednesday. 💜
