The boiler man phoned this morning and said they had put the fluid in the boiler but couldn't find the one which came with it and had used another. He also said the flu would be OK, I do hope he's right and he explained a couple of other bits including the hose that should have been removed. I did it myself while he was on the phone and it's fine. Alan came and will make me a cover for all the pipes as the one I have no longer fits. he took all the measurements so hopefully he'll do it soon. He should be back in 2 weeks time.

It's been about 70 again today and is now down to 62 which is fine for sleeping. They say we will be hotter than Spain by Friday, I hope they're wrong!

I spent the afternoon with Auntie, the allergy is a bit better and she should have had a blood test today but it got cancelled as someone was sick, so it should now take place on Thursday, hopefully!

Hi Janet, I phoned the dentist this morning and explained all and she said I could go tomorrow, but the car is in the garage and they're too far away to go by bus, in fact there is no bus between Lowestoft and Southwold where they are and no trains. As it's not bothering me and I'm not in pain I said I could go later in the week so she's fitted me in on Friday afternoon, which is fine.  I will say they're not exactly on the edge of the world but it's far enough to put me off going by taxi.

The man came this morning and examined the conservatory roof and we agreed a price and the surveyor will come Wednesday to get the exact measurements and it should be ready to be fitted in about 3 weeks.
