Hello Queen!  🌿♥️🌿 Memorial Day weekend has arrived! I live 7 miles from town, so not sure how crowded it might be. To answer your question: tourists come for the natural beauty. The Mackinaw Bridge connects the upper & lower peninsulas and there's Lake Michigan on one side and Lake Huron on the other. Biggest destination is Mackinaw Island which has no vehicles, only horses and bikes. Ferry boats leave several times an hour during tourist season..I believe the last one leaves the island at 9pm...if you miss it, you're spending the night! Lots of cabins and  campgrounds.  Some fine dining and unique gift shops. Lots of wilderness! Google Mackinaw and the island. Also, quite historical!
