Hi Vivette. I was a few days late with my answer because I was waiting for the result of the first round of the presidential elections. Unfortunately, out of a desire to teach the current system a lesson, Romanians here and in the diaspora voted for the ultranationalist Simion, who obtained 40% of the votes. I don't think these people understood the social and political context we are in, I don't understand that if Russia wins the war with Ukraine, it will become our neighbors to the north, and an exit from NATO as this candidate wants would be a disaster for us. I don't understand that exiting the EU, as this candidate also wants, would take us back 35 years, isolate us from the rest of Europe and we would lose our credibility again. I am extremely, extremely worried about what will happen in the second round, the other candidate being an independent, he is still the mayor of the capital.  No matter how angry you are with the current political class, how can you be so stupid as not to see things in their perspective. This Simion is a Trump fan. This Trump who canceled the decision that Romanians could travel visa-free to America three days before the elections. As a warning!

Happy Sunday! I slept in a little too late, but I stayed up a little too late. Just bummin' around the house today not doing much. Worked on a new book nook for a bit, and now watching the race. Oh I hate that the weekend is almost over- they just go too fast! Have a great afternoon!
