The footstep fairies follow you
Wherever you may walk,
And when you tread the grasses down,
They push back every stalk.
Though you may watch for hours,
But hide themselves behind your feet,
And in among the flowers.
Then, when you've gone along your way,
They tug with might and main,
Till all the little blades of grass
Are standing straight again.

a quiet good morning splash

Monday splash--So far the sun is sort of shining,the temperatures are rising but we have a cool wind,the laundry is done,dried and put away,tried to organize a ride for Thurs but no go so taxi it will be to get a shot in the shoulder which we hope will work for a bit. Other than that all is well. Mondays always seem a bit of a bother because I put things off over the weekend.Actually I am doing good for me to have got all that done as laundry is one chore that is hard because I have to cart it down 12 floors and then back up ,hence don't do it as often as I shouls and then it piles up. Yes starling are a noisy,dirty nuisense--we used to get them at our feeders all the time when we lived in the country--but had a very annoying blue Jay that would chase them away and then throw seed out left and right but then all the other bird would come in and feed off the ground.
