Thank you Pat apparently the cancer she has is aggressive but responds well to treatment so we are all hopeful. She is upset about losing her hair, she has very long and curly auburn hair.  A lady is coming round to see her to take measurements for making her a wig. We will all remain strong for her and help her through this. xx

My daughter will be starting her treatment in 2 weeks or so.  There are a few things to get done first before it starts.  Once it starts it is 12 weeks of chemo, 3 weeks of daily targeted radiotherapy and a targeted injection every three weeks for a year. She will also have to take a tablet to remove the oestrogen from her body, these have to be taken for 5 years! So a long road to travel, but so long as it works. xx

It's been a bit frantic here the past week or so, my daughter has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has had an operation to remove 2 tumours and now we are waiting to hear from the Consultant.  We know she will need chemo and radiation but don't know when this will start.  Always something isn't there. Bye for now. xxx

No, I wasn’t a nurse. When I left the RAF over the years I was a dental receptionist, a podiatry receptionist, care assistant, learning disabled carer, and a ward clerk on the acute medical unit in Swindon, where patients came to us from the emergency department.

We got Pippin from a Traveller Site! A female dog was there and clearly his mother, a male Poodle was also there so he maybe or maybe not be his father!  We didn't want to leave him there but he definitely has issues and now resource guards my husband so I have to be careful when I go near him! Pippin lies behind his legs a lot, something else I have to work on. xx
