We had a hard freeze last night and my canna shoots are a bit abused. We are due another freeze tonight so I covered the with an old carpet and cardboard. Hopefully that helps. Even the hydrangea blooms got frost bit.
Rather than let Duncan outside since he gave me poison Ivy on my arm that I carry him in with, I pulled a handful of grass shoots and brought them in. Everybody was very interested in them and all but three pieces were eaten.
