I had a nice lunch with Kate and Mick yesterday, it was good to see them again. They had their grandson, Rowan with them. He’s only a year old and such a sweetie.
I’ve nearly finished the intermediate quest and the vases now. I’ve hardly been on here but I just let my garden get on with itself but lots are missed doing that.
I had better get up and ready to go to the gym. I’m meeting my new friend at her house and we’re going to the gym together. I don’t even know where she lives, I’ll have to set the satnav, wish me luck, chat later xxx

Morning Kay….. the trial only took 4 days and they didn’t need me for this week. I would have got off it anyway as I was struggling. You are not allowed to speak about the case while you are on it but you can when it’s over that’s why I can tell you now. I got the lift down as I have more trouble going downstairs than up. It was my choice to go up so there’s nothing to complain about. I could have gone up in the lift but I chose not to. I’m glad I did jury service but I wouldn’t like to do it again.
I’m staying in today as I have quite a bit to do indoors. Paperwork, washing etc.
You said you won’t have time to the advanced quest, why, it’s only the 16th, you have over two weeks. I’ve nearly finished the advanced and well on the way with the vases as well. They’re easier this time as there’s not so many critters to choose from.
I had my nails done yesterday, sparkly pink again, in time for Nicola’s party on Saturday. Me and Tara went for lunch after and then I came home. I didn’t wait to see Jay and Holly as I’m seeing them on Saturday.

Hi Kay, sorry you are still not feeling great. Hopefully the antibiotics will carry on working for a few days after you have finished them.
I finished court Thursday evening and had Friday off and I don’t have to go back next week. Thank goodness, it played havoc with my back and I was so tired. It was a drug related case but we had to find him not guilty due to lack of evidence but he’s in prison anyway as he pleaded guilty to pushing and selling drugs prior to the trial. I’m glad I did it but I didn’t realise it would be so taxing on my body and mind.
Sarah should be more understanding, it’s a pity you can’t go to the party.
I’ve got a busy week this week, I’m going to Tara’s tomorrow to have my nails done and lunch. I think I’m free on Tuesday. I’m meeting Kate for a coffee on Wednesday, she’s looking after her grandson down this way and we are going for a coffee after she’s taken him to soft play at the shopping centre where I go. And wait for it………I’m going to the gym on Thursday. I met someone whilst on jury service and she goes to the gym a couple of times a week. It’s only a small gym and the trainer deals with people that have had strokes, car accidents, cerebral palsy etc. There’s nothing wrong with Sara but she says she feels comfortable there and wouldn’t go to any other gym. It’s not far from me but I’ll drive to her house and she’s going to take me. On Friday my friend Christine is bringing Nicola’s birthday cake here, it’s Nicola’s birthday on Friday and we are going to take her out for lunch. Friday afternoon I’m over Nicola’s supervising P and Paul putting up the gazebo for Nicola’s party on Saturday. Hopefully, I can have a rest on Sunday but I have Tara, Greg, Jay and Holly staying here on Saturday night.
I’ve finished the Easy and Intermediate quests and I’m about two thirds through the Advanced quest. I don’t know how because I’ve been in court all week 😂
I’ve not even started the vases but will later today as I have rainforest critters to do for the quest.
It’s really nice weather here, has been for 2 days, up until then It hadn’t stopped raining.

Morning Kay, they know I am disabled and I can use the lift but I have to be escorted and if there isn’t any officials around I just go up the stairs, it’s my choice. I always use the lift going down because someone escorts me from the court. I can’t use the public lifts in case I bump into family and friends of the defendants because I am a juror. Hopefully, it’s the last day today and I don’t have to go back next week. The Clerk has spoken to the Jury Officer about me and advised that I don’t get called next week as I’m struggling so keep everything crossed for me.
Hope these new antibiotics work and you soon start to feel better. Keep up the good work with the not smoking. You know it makes sense but you always go back. I know it’s an addiction but you have to fight it for your health. You would get far less chest infections if you gave up. Lecture over, sorry.
I have got to go and make sure I’ve got everything , my taxi isn’t coming for another 45 mins but I like to be ready well in advance.

Morning Kay, I hope you are feeding a lot better. This Jury service is killing my back, the chairs are so uncomfortable in the Jury room and I have to spend a lot of time in there. When we sit on the Jury the chairs are more comfortable. Plus the court is up 4 flights of stairs, I have to be escorted but there’s never anyone around so I just use the stairs, I’m knackered by the time I get up there and so out of breath. Hopefully I won’t have to go next week because the trial I’m on is due to end on Friday. If I do get called up next week I’ll ask to be excused.
My taxi is coming in 15 minutes so I’ve got to go xxx

Just got home, I’m sitting on a trial that could last 4 days so good it isn’t longer.
Fit for work, that’s ridiculous! Nathan should be helping you? It always happens to you, how can they make you work?
Did you talk to your doctor about your chest infection?
My back is killing me as there was a lot of sitting around in court. I’ve just taken some painkillers.
It’s like being back at work, I think I’m going to have an early night.
I’m trying to attract 2 Pegasus to my garden and not having much luck.

Morning Kay, make sure you ring the doctors today. I had trouble understanding your message, was it something about DWP forms? What have you got to fill forms in for?
I have jury service today, not looking forward to it but I suppose I’ll be ok once I get the first day over with. The courts have agreed to pay for taxi for me which is coming at 8.15 so I’d best get cracking.
