Still warm and sunny here. But in the wind it is cold.!!
Went and saw an old friend today for her birthday. She is 99 today. Still at home but her niece keeps an eye on her and makes sure she   eats and drinks ok.

Hi, Von. Been away for a little holiday. Only to the Isle of Wight. Local coach firm ran the holiday. Went with 3 friends. had a lovely 5 days. Sunny and warm. But the wind was terrible. Today it is the same here. Been having trouble with my Fairyland. But it seems o.k. today. Not been on since before I went away.
Mary and I phone each other. We are to meet up in a couple of weeks for lunch.

I was meeting Mary today. But had an appointment with the doctor yesterday. He checked me over. Another new tablet to try. And a blood and ECG in 2 weeks. Did not want to drive today untill i see how I react to this tablet. Fine ...so far !! xxx

Back in the spring of 2010 I rescued two 1-day old ducklings & mom said all they do is EAT & POOP! and I said well, that's how God made them! SO THANKFUL they didn't IMPRINT ON ME!  It was quite an adventure & very educational for me. Released on a private duck sanctuary at 10 weeks old; wrote a story with pix for my young grandsons & their favorite part was learning the ducklings first swim was in a peanut butter jar lid! (SMILE)!

Hi,Von. Thank you for your card. I have not opened it. Keeping that till the day. !! Have to get Wednesday over first. Meeting Mary tomorrow for a birthday lunch. So a something to look forward too.

Hi,Von. Thank you. June's funeral will be on the 26th. Matthew's daughter has flown over today. That was who they were going to see in America. I expect she will stay till the funeral.

Hi,Von. Just to let you know June died this morning. She had not been well for a few days. Would not eat or drink. The Home rang lynne yesterday. So she and Matthew came down. They were all set to go to the States this morning to visit Matthew's daughter .Love and Hugs  xxx

Not been able to see June. The Home has covid. Relatives can visit. But must mask up ect. Being on my own I am staying away till they get the all clear. Lynne went on Saturday.June is in her room. Was watching t.v. Not done that for a few years !! Was just not interested. But she is in bed.Still not able to get out on her own. Tomorrow is her birthday. I was going over. But will now stay away. Sent her card in the post. So I hope she gets it. xxx

Hi,Von. Saw my niece yesterday. Her and Matthew popped in. They were in June's having a look round. She has been moved to a Nursing Home a few miles away. Of course it is expensive. So the house has to be sold. Not sure when they will put it on the market. It needs a lot of work.
Enjoyed Strictly but it did go on. I turned over for a while and watched a programme about making the old "All Creatures Great and Small " series. Then back to Strictly .!! Lots of Love  xxx
