Hi,Von. So pleased to see the back of that very hot weather. 2 days of over 30c were more than enough for me. !!
June was a lot better last week. I had given it a miss for a couple of weeks. Twice when I went she told me to "Go home" and just would not speak. Like that even when Lynne went. !!
Not sure if I can make it this week .
Taking Mary  next thursday for her eye injections. They are not nice and she finds them very painful. Wednesday we have Fellowships Summer outing. Going to Chiddingstone Castle. Been there before but a few years ago. Fingers crossed we have no rain.
Be thinking of you on Thursday. Never gets easier, Von. Hope Steph is getting on ok. ?

Hi,Von. It was lovely to hear from you. So pleased Paul's funeral  went well. They are never happy occasions. Even when there are happy events to be recalled. I hope Steph gets on o.k. It all takes time. As you, know, you never forget .

Oxford was lovely. We spent it going round on the open top bus. Did sit by the river to eat our lunch. Could not have asked for better weather. Sunny and warm. It was a long journey. Took 4 hours to get there. But well worth it.

Enjoyed the V.E.Day celebrations on t.v. Not impressed by last nights concert though !!
For Fellowship on Wednesday most of us dressed in Red, White and Blue. Had a buffet and a quiz. and a raffle with prizes wrapped in brown paper and string. !!

Hi,Von. I was so sorry to read about Paul .Please pass on my best wishes and love to Steph. Not an easy time for all of you. I know from my Mum. Leg ulcers are the devil to clear up.
23rd I go for my check up. All being well.. order new glasses. Just grateful I can drive. .But not far. Have to take Mary on Thursday back where I had my op. She is having to have drops in her eyes.!! Good job i can drive or she would be be able to go.

All went well, Von. But I need new reading glasses. TSeeing the lap top is not too good. Makes my eyes ache. But I can drive. Distance sight is the best it has ever been. Hope you are ok.? Take care .Love and Hugs  xxx

Hi,Von. My op is still on for tomorrow. Will be back once I know how well I can see. Last time I needed new glasses. I know i will for driving. Just see how it goes.
