Hi,Von. Trying to catch up. Yesterday seemed to go to fast.. Not a bad day here this morning. Chilly but bright. Mary and I were meeting up tomorrow to go down the coast on the train. But the forecast is for rain and wind. So going to pick her up and we will go for lunch locally .
Been put right. Where we went on Wednesday was Plucks Gutter. !! Almost as bad a name. !!
Where does the time go Von. ? It was just 1 year since Caroline died. You have had 7years of memories. You do well, Von. Mary's Andrew will have been gone  5 years this year.
Better get on. off to chase up an item on my prescription. Never seem to give me enough. !1

Hi,Von. We had a great day out. The weather was like summer. Warm and sunny. Not like today. Cooler and cloudy !!
We went down into the Kent Weald. Coffee stop in Tunbridge Wells. Then back through the villages to Plucks Bottom. Real name, near Ramsgate .Had lunch in the Dog and Duck pub. Far more than anyone could eat ...but we all did !!
Then home just after 6pm. Could not have asked for a better day.
Sorry your op. has been cancelled. Not nice having to wait...
Enjoy Carmen. Will it be local or have you both got to travel to see it ? I know you will enjoy it.

Had rain over night and this morning. But around 1pm. the sun came out. It is still out but doing battle with the black clouds around !! The road on the way to church this morning had a lot of water. Some were just rushing through it. Me.. I took it steady. So many hidden pot holes  !!

Hi,Von. Do not worry, easy to say I know. I worried before mine. Then wondered why I fussed. Having my Eye Test next week .Hope they say my other eye is ready. It will be 9 years since I had my first done.Then the lazer treatment a couple of years ago .
Very windy now and turning colder. !!

Hi,Von.  Glad you enjoyed your Christmas Dinner. I had my roast beef ect. on Sunday. Christmas Day I made myself one of my rice dishes. Made far too much .. but  finished all !!
Yesterday was lovley here. Sunny and no wind. Checked Joyces and had a walk round the Cemetery. Everyone uses it as a park. Loads of Dog walkers out. Washing dried beautifully on the line. Today it is gloomy and very windy. Turning colder as well.
My ears seem fine now. Just must remember to put the drops in at least once a week. !!

Hi,Von. Laptop has been in for repair. Needed a new hard drive. Came back this afternoon. All now ok. So trying to catch up !!
Hope you have all been ok with the terrible rain ? Not too bad here. But more rain coming.
Feel so sorry for all those under water. Where ever do you start to clear up and count the cost. !!
