Hy, Lynn. looking like another sunny if humid day. Was out early. Grass was cut yesterday. So cleared a few more weeds before the forecast rain. Trouble is Hay Fever. Not had it for years. But this year it is  back. It is due to the dry weather and the pollen around.Fresh cut grass is not helping. But I wanted to fill the brown bin. Bin day Monday.
Off to the Criterion for the film this afternoon. Picking up  my friend on the way .

Hi.Lynn. Poor old pigeon not sounding too good. One good thing he is eating. Do not know if you found a Vet he could do anything for it.
Lovely and sunny here now and even feeling humid. Fellowship had a fund raiser from Cancer research this morning. One of our members organises it. Normally at her home. But with the road works at the bottom of her road. Had it at the club. A lot of people came. Plenty of food and drink !!

Hi,Lynn. Not such a bad day today. Some sunshine. But still a chilly wind blowing. But it is looking a lot warmer by the end of the week.
Hope Tommy got out for a while today. You certainly worked hard on your holly bush. It is the clearing up afterwards that gets me when cutting back. I have a privit bush in need of cutting back. Will have to wheel my bin round from the front and in the back gate. Not carrying all the cuttings through the house .

Hi,Lynn. We certainly had rain yesterday. Roof gutters over flowed and the  water on the road took ages to drain away. Today windy but very sunny. So everywhere has dried up .
I think you may have Woody for the rest of his life. Poor thing. But with you he is safe and fed. Good job you have birds. Glad Tommy got out and was feeding well. looks like it is going to be a good week. No good for the gardens but fine for us. !!
See the traffic lights are still at Brambledown. Wonder when that will be finished.

Hi,Lynn. No sign of the rain... yet !! Even have some sunshine. Off to the Criterion this afternoon. Going to see the great, Great Grandson of Charles Dickens perform. So i hope i do not get wet coming home. !!

Hi,Lynn. Well we had the much wanted rain last night and early this morning. But with this wind any good will have been dried up .Still feels cold. Back in jumper and cardigan.May be next week summer will be back ..
Heard from my niece that her mum is still not making sense. She spoke to her on the phone Tuesday and again today. So  I have not gone to see her. Will leave it till next week. See how she is then.

Hi, Lynn. Your  house is getting like a zoo.!! But at least they are all doing well. Feel sorry for Tommy. This weather is not for him. I think this time we will get proper rain. !! Sunshine was nice this morning. But that wind was cold. Did my Tesco shopping this afternoon. Save going out tomorrow  if it rains.
My car passed the MOT.Had a service as well. So, hopefully, ok for another year. Start saving for next year !!

Hi,Lynn. I hope the pigeon is still ok. Bit windy for him today. So far no rain !!
Had a lovely day in Oxford. Spent it on the tour bus going round seeing all the sights. Did a lunch stop and went and found a bench by the river and had my sandwiches. Then another ride on the bus to where the coach was parked. Love to go again now I know where everything is. The 3 friends I went with all enjoyed. 2 found walking difficult. Thats why we used the bus. !!
We were back by 8pm Long day after a 7am start !!

Hi,Lynn. I hope your wood pigeon has recovered well enough  for you to set him free. Good job you had a spare cage. Had a chuckle about him sitting in the water bowl !!
Nice to see Tommy is back to normal. Hope the change due on Tuesday. Colder and wet ,will not affect him.
Was going to pull up more weeds this afternoon. But,sunny it may be, the breeze is not good .Also my brown bin is almost full. Good job tomorrow it should be emptied.
