Hi, Polly! As usual, new year was quiet. I don't get too excited about it anymore.😊 Take it easy and don't overdo, it takes time to recover. The weather here has been cloudy and rainy. Looks like we might get a couple of dry days this week. Happy Sunday! 💖🤗💖

Hello Polly, Our New Year was quiet. As it always is we don't celebrate in any way. Just another day, actually we were in bed and didn't even see the New Year in. We are old! Lol! So glad you were up to having friends over and celebrating a bit and enjoyed a lovely time. So you are back to work! I'm sure it was tiring. It will take a bit for you to feel 100% again. Just don't over do it. We are experiencing a major winter storm right now. We probably have already 6 inches and still a long way to go before the snow moves on. We are expecting 7-13 inches with possible freezing rain mixed in. Very treacherous conditions for sure. Ed is home and trying to keep up with it by plowing but it is coming down heavy. Driving in wintery conditions is no fun, I agree with you. I see improvement in Molly. She still has a long way to go. She is at least trying to stand up on her own, but loses her balance most every time. Her little legs are not strong enough to support her. Sadye is doing well. She used to like playing in the snow, but since her back injury not so much. She goes out to do her business and comes right back in. I hate to hear of Hugo's struggle. I sure hope you can capture another video so he doesn't have to have the x-ray. Will keep check on him. He will be ready for a nice nap after playing out in the cold and snow. I hope your trip to and from work are safe ones. Take care, be safe and love up on Hugo...give him tummy rubs and ear scritches. Sending big hugs to you friend!!!

Hi Polly, so glad you able to get back to work. Don't overdo it though. We had a quiet New Year . We had a good covering of snow to wake up to this morning, but it has rained , so most of it gone, We went on a coach Trip today to see a pantomime, so that was fun and the roads were reasonable. Hiya Polly hope your OK pleased you have gone back to work you'll soon get back into the swing of things I've been poorly since the 30th I've had that flue virus it's really knocked me off my feet I seem to be getting better now we are forecast more snow tonight anyways I'm off in the bath as I'm sweating all the time take care n stay safe xx

Hi honey, That's the one thing I don't miss. That's going to work. Although it would get me out of my apartment. I'm quiet the hermit these days, and have been for quite a while now. I like my own company which is a good thing (considering I live on my own). Occasionally I bicker with myself, lose the argument, and sulk. My apartment is now back to normal. My cleaner came and took my tree down, and put the angels and butterflies back in their boxes for another 11 months. She's a cheeky mare as she charged me £25.00 for just over an hour. Living in a small village, with very little in it, few shops, one small Co-op, a pharmacy, take away places and a few pubs and charity shops. No cabs (who's ever hear of a place not having cabs, or an uber service?).  I've been called to see my breathing nurse (she should know already I can breath, otherwise I'd be deceased!) but she can take a long walk of a short pier, if she thinks I'm going outside in this weather. Thick snow here, very pretty, but as you say, ice underneath, so not good to go out on. Especially as I don't have chains on my wheels. Well, it is only a mobility scooter, that  goes full throttle at 4 miles an hour, and then only on the pavement. Stay safe whilst on the roads. I'm sure you're an excellent driver, it's the other idiots on the road you have to be aware of. It's a heatwave here, just above freezing. I did, have my heating on for a wee while, but watched the dial on my smart meter spinning like a roulette wheel, so turned my heating off. I'm warm, don't get me wrong. Wearing thick, Pj's a thick dressing gown, and a blanket over my lap, and wrapped around my legs and feet. I'm sex on legs, until I pass by a mirror and see a hag looking back at me! Do I care? Nope! I'm warm and comfy. Take care sweetheart. Think about the tax man on your way to work (I was gonna say think of your pay-packet) Be safe, seriously, as the roads are a hazard now it's snowed.
