Carol, sorry to hear about your hubby, hope he is doing better!
I got the zucchini bread recipes off of the internet at RecipeGirl.com. Go into sweet breads at the top of the page and scroll down to Classic Zucchini Recipe is the plain one. I added 1 teaspoon of Cardamon (the Finnish Spice) to the recipe and some half an half. Next time I make it I'm going to only use 3 cups of flour instead because the crust is a little bit dry.
The second recipe Chocolate Zucchini Bread is also on RecipeGirl.com. I didn't use any chocolate chips, but I put in about 1 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of Cardamon the Finnish Spice and about 1/4 of a cup of half and half. I wanted my bread to be more wet so that is why I added the milk. It says on the recipe that the mixture will be thin, mine was not even after adding the milk. But it is sure moist.
Let me know how it turns out for you, Carol!
Have a beautiful evening girl! Hugs & 💕💕💕

Hi Carol, sorry it’s taken me a few days to get back to you...I just don’t know where the time went! I don’t know how you coped after Tom’s fall and seeing how much blood he’d lost...I would have gone to pieces ...can’t stand the sight of blood, particularly someone else’s. I do think they should have X-rayed him, as a precaution. Look at Steve, he spent months in agony before he was sent for a scan which showed a fracture in his vertebrae. You can’t be too careful, especially us older people, when falls can be serious! I do feel for you Carol. You’re doing the best you can under difficult circumstances. I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to pick Steve up, should he have a fall. I struggled this morning with the hoover, carrying it upstairs. It’s frustrating but you know the limitations
getting older brings. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak! Take care of yourself Carol...we’re inclined to neglect ourselves when it comes to the wellbeing of our nearest and dearest. Sending lots of love and hugs 🥰 xx

*´¨`☽✨💫 Thanks for visiting!
Oh Carol, I'm so sorry for your husband's fall and injuries. Yes, when it is too deep it is hard to deal with, I certainly can understand that. Thank you for sharing as it is easier to prayer for a situation when you know a little about it. You will never have to feel you didn't do your best with your caring for your husband. Lean on the Lord to get you through these trying times. I've been busy with sewing, watching the boys and sometimes dogs. Have trimmed several bushes down to a manageable level. Still more to do. Every season has some extra jobs to do. Nice to chat with you again. Prayers, hugs and blessings for you.

Hi Carol. Ken and I are okay. We both still are having the good and bad days, especially Ken. He'll be having more cortisone injections to help with pain. This time they will shoot him in the lower back. I am still doing PT and will continue for a long time. They are helping me to get stronger over my whole body so that I can continue to be a caregiver for Ken. We celebrated our 40th anniversary today. The kids gave us a wonderful party yesterday.

Sorry to hear about your hubby's medical issues. Being a caretaker is exhausting. Please take care of yourself as Dr.Fishman always told me to do,did I listen to him, nope I didn't and here I am fighting this demon we call "cancer"all by myself. I don't ask anyone for help because I know first hand how difficult it is to be a caretaker. My children have jobs and families to worry about. I have faith and that's all I need to get me through this.. Please know that I haven't been ignoring you, I'm not feeling well so I tend to hind in my shell as not to burden anyone.. Take care my friend.
