Morning cooler today for us. Short lived tho. Smoke is horrible but the coolness makes it ok. Yard work, extra cleaning etc today. Hope you’re doing ok. Looks like the fire laid down.

Watched the Huey’s move people out. Beyond crazy. I wonder how long before people resign and move away? Thank Goodness for Robert and his crews. Lives were saved.

Not call came out. The majority did come out. The ones that stayed were low on gas. She said Cal Fire stayed with them. She’s an absolute wreck but at least they know they are out. I simply can imagine no gas up there this time of the year. Smh! Now you know why the evacuation order was if you have no gas, get into a car that does. Makes sense.
I can see a glow way far away in the clouds. Thinking it’s one of 3 fires in Glenn’s ferry. I told tim so he can check it. A huge amount of alfalfa fields out that way.

My old neighbor Jen’s husband  owns Jackson’s Logging. They got that group out but she’s waiting a call from Robert. They are evacuating to Chester no way down. I’m going out to check in our area before bed. Our winds came out of the south east. Not expected!! They said north west! So that kinda is different. We need some cooling!

A few around us. But not near us. Here rumbles far off. The fires on the Oregon boarder, 50 mph winds 1/2 inch hail. Ugly. Hopefully it’s blanketed deep with hail.

His truck needed shock mounts welded in. They had to be perfect. And a cross member. Then after a day there he took it to the muffler shop. Picking up in a bit, they close at noon because of heat. Then to motor shop to have a look and hear of the engine and ideas on weights.  All that is left is 2 rims and 4 tires & a bed. The bed will need gas tank & weights to make it legal on the track.  But that’s his toy. I’ve been pushing on him to finish. His envelope is about empty. (He sold the 68 ford and parts off that 52 ford) While he’s able physically, mentally and $$$ wise. Becky has been chirping Timmy gets the truck what do I get? So I’m like well…. You chirp at him. She’s the needy one otherwise ($$$$) so if I find a good little car he can build one up during the winter fine. But she’s needy…
