Hi Rosemary, glad your friend got home safe.. my friends daughter is still out there, scary times..!! We have booked Florida but it's not till end of November so we are not thinking about it right now.

I received your beautiful greeting card—although it arrived a bit late, it truly warmed my heart the moment I opened it. Thank you so much for thinking of me and sending such a lovely message.

I must admit, the sluggish post office in my country is the main reason I stopped sending greeting cards, because I never know when (or if!) they will reach their destination. But please know this: even without cards travelling back and forth, you and Norm are always in my heart, and I’m sending you both my warmest wishes across the miles.

Hi, Rosemary!
I'm doing well, but I am in need of knee surgery on my right knee. Bad arthritis, so I need a knee replacement. Am hoping to have the procedure in late March or early April.
Yesterday was a very sad day for my husband and I. We had to send our 17 1/2 year old fur baby, Dudley, over the rainbow bridge. He lived a long happy life, but he was starting to have neurological issues and more and more frequent seizures. Didn't want to have him suffer any longer. You met both our dogs when you and your sister visited our summer home in Woodruff, so many years ago. Our Bailey crossed the rainbow bridge in April of 2020, and at that time I told Dudley that he had to stay with me for a long time. He did and was my very loyal companion. This is the first time we've been without a fur baby in our family for 19 years.
So today is the first day of the rest of my life without a fur baby companion. We're too old to adopt another fur baby, but I have two very lovable granddogs that I can shower my love and affection on now. They're only 5 miles away from our house, and they love their grandmother.
