Hi Malcolm, had a good day in clinic today, everyone has been pleased to see me back at the desk.
Went to the hospital yesterday, some of the  consultant’s first words to me were - have you had skin cancer before. Nearly hyperventilated! After further scrutiny of offending area, consultant declared that it’s a change in skin due to aging process. Had a look at my face under a bright light machine and she was happy all was ok, and off I went to catch the bus back home.
Went on the bus as parking at hospital is crazy, plus the bus goes past my house so it’s really rather easy and only cost me a total of £4.
Hope all is good and the greens are in tip top condition xxx

Hope the weather stays decent for you and the regatta. Woke to rain this morning but it stopped after a couple of hours.
Hospital called me this afternoon, got appt tomorrow with the skin specialist after the Dr put in an urgent referral, didn’t know it was urgent!. Had a small growth/mole on my ear which has got bigger and bigger rather quickly, changed colour etc.so thought I better do something about it. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about, it doesn’t itch or anything. Have a good Wednesday xx

Ah yes, I saw Wendy's photos of you both with Mr Brunel. I'm sure that was interesting. I haven't been to the harbourside for ages, now I live out in rural Mendip. I used to go there a lot when I lived in Brizzle.
My weekend was sadly nothing but exhaustion and feeling a bit unwell! Working at Prickles every Friday means I'm burnt out for most weekends, and I've also had editing work to do for about the last 3 months, so I haven't been able to have a day out or do anything nice for ages! Can't wait for a bit of time off. We're trying to plan some holidays, but I also have an elderly and frail cat, which makes going away difficult. I don't suppose you know any reliable live-in catsitters?! xx

Yes we had some decent days this week, but today is back to thick grey cloud.
Still got a rubbish cough but back to work Monday. I haven’t been off sick needing a Dr’s certification for 15 years. Two lots of antibiotics and to be honest neither seemed to do much good.

Silly me - managed to send you the plants after all! It was opening in a new window on my other monitor, which was off. When I came to close down the computer, about 7 other windows were open! So now you've got a good stash of sunflowers xx

Hi Malcolm, unfortunately I can't send gifts anymore. I don't know why, but when I try to click on the 'Send gifts' button, nothing happens. I think it's been like that for a while. Sorry about that - I hope some of your other friends can send you the plants. I'm off for another long day with the prickly ones. I finished at 9.45pm on Wed. Ooff! xx

Thanks for spotting the Bee Eater Malcolm...I am attempting the intermediate Pottery Quest.  I'm getting there surely but slowly.  We are enjoying a sensational Winter weekend, the surf is up and the sun is out.  We are looking at renovating our kitchen now, and that will be our last major job.  So, lots of fun choosing the colours and bench tops etc.  There is so much choice!  We are heading to New Zealand in November to finish touring there....hopefully for 2 weeks.  What are you up to at the moment? xxx
