Gardinia

Status
Gardinia is freezing for a bit. My horrible, unreliable internet is now even much worse so I just can't return sprinkles like I want to. Gardinia and I will be back though, so please be patient!

Hi Leslie - oh no!!  That's terrible.  I don't blame you for freezing - that is very time consuming!!   I hope it's something that can be fixed soon for you.    I am very tired tonight - hopefully I can drag myself off to bed early!   I will PM you tomorrow to say hi.

i know, sweating is the worst, we got a new rug today and we had to move the furniture and mop and sweep, i was dripping sweat by the time i was done, ugh, it's awful! poor kitties, i know my Regis did not like the cold either, he would get under the covers with me at night and sometimes during the day all on his own, lol, what a silly cat he was, he was the best, we talk about getting a cat for Bessie, might cave one of these days. at least you did not get a lot of snow, doesn't seem fair at all. i've been a month now without a migraine, woo hoo! hopefully i did not just jinx myself. are you working 4 days a week still? take care, be safe xoxo

well, we slept with the AC last night, lol, it was just too hot, yes, we get into the 90's, yesterday i believe it was 93. plus high humidity, i think that is the worst but it is great for your skin, i hardly ever have to apply moisturizer or lotion. i've gotten used to the high temps since we've been here but man, do i hate to sweat, ha, i am not a good exerciser can you tell? walking is about all i do. looks like we will have some rain today, i don't mind it if it cools down, but when it just makes it sticky and hot it is miserable. when i lived in WA i had a place that didn't have AC and i left a candle (unlit) out, it melted everywhere from the heat, lol, i had to buy a fan. i sure hope you don't get snow! that would make for a sucky May. i know it happens though, i had snow in August once on my bday in Colorado and i've seen snow on the 4th of July in Yellowstone. crazy. take care, talk soon :)

hello! we went for another walk today but it was much hotter out, horrible with face masks on! poor Bessie got thorns in her feet but at least she let me take them out, usually she will not let us touch her feet, honestly, she won;t let us touch her most of anywhere, she's such a butt. i have been sick the last three weeks or so, going to see the doc next week, not to worry, no Covid-19 symptoms, i'll let you know how i am doing. we have been running the a/c so much, our bill hasn't gone up much thank goodness, we mostly just sleep with the fan at night. hope your day went well and that you have a great night, take care xoxo

Hi - OMG SNOW!!!  Are you serious??   That's horrible!   I am sorry!  It's been very nice here the past few days - today was sunny but a little cool forr my blood - but still "no jacket" weather!    Well I didn't get much accomplished at all today - and don't care that much.  It was one of those days where I was BUSY, but didn't get much accomplished!  And you know what - I don't care!  lol   Yes Trump pisses everyone off.  I know he talks like a jerk MANY times but I swear I would rather have someone who is not a good speaker but truly in his heart wants to do good, rather than some smooth talker who just tells everyone what they want to hear.   And then they sell out our country to every one else.  I don't trust any of them - and I think that because Trump is a business man, and basically doesn't care about all of their politics, they are threatened by him and feel the need to destroy him.  THAT scares me more than anything - what are they so afraid of??   Oh well - I certainly won't solve any of the world problems.  I hear the weekend is looking really nice - I hope it stays that way!!  I want to plant some flowers (and I'm putting LOTS of Cayenne pepper in with them when I plan

so glad you didn't have to work, i can't imagine what i would do if i were working and i had to go in with a migraine, i'd have to get fired i bet! kinda hard to work when you can't open your eyes, lol. i know how you feel about your cats, that's the way i have always felt about my furry friends. oh my gosh, when you post Calvin and Hobbes i just about die, i had ALL the books, gave them to my nephews when i moved, i would read them all the time, they are my favorites, i would laugh just as hard reading them the last time as the first time. well, i am off, going to walk with Bess and D, a bit cloudy out there but we are bringing our umbrella!! have a great day, hope you are feeling even better today

Good morning!  Oh honey - I'm with you - this is all just a little too much and I don't believe half of it.  I hate to be that way because I know people are dying - but more people die of the flu!   We are having meat shortage issues, too.  I'm sorry but I also think there is a lot more to this - and it's all political.  I do believe there is a large group that wants to see our President fail - the economy has been doing good and this whole COVID stuff is putting a halt to that.  I was never one to believe in such things but I do believe they are running scared.   Hmmmm we haven't been asked to download anything on our phones yet.   Honestly - I don't really care because I'm pretty boring but I care because there is just something creepy about this whole thing.  And it's sad that we can't believe anything!   They are changing the #s every day - they tell us one thing and the next day that's wrong - I can't even listen any more.  It's disgusting.   I think we should all go back to living our lives, but being a lot more careful.   There has been a commercial on tv lately telling us to be careful of scams - and to be careful of "fraudulent" activities going on - reminding us it's ille

oh gosh, Leslie, i am so terribly sorry to hear about your migraine, you have all my sympathy and certainly my empathy as you well know my troubles with them. the last one was 4 days but i am not talking about it lest it thinks it can come back! yes, sitting on the couch drinking tea is divine but life does come calling, doesn't it? i mopped and swept the living room and bedroom yesterday, wanted to get the bathroom and kitchen done today but don't think it is going to happen, not feeling great these last few weeks, going to the doc next week. i love when you post pics of your cats, one day we will get one again, Bessie would love that, she is so gentle. sure hope you feel better, you didn't have to go to work, did you? take care, my friend :)

Hi!   I'm so sorry about your migraine!!  I don't get them but my sister gets a LOT of them!   I know changes in the weather system usually trigger them.  And yes - having the windows open at night is bad if you have allergies because the pollen count is highest I THINK between the hours of 2 AM and 5 AM - or something like that.   I think the key is that you have to take something as SOON as you feel something coming on - at least that's how it is with her.  Hopefully the weather will quit going crazy and you'll be okay.  And yes - all that work you did probably didn't help.   It took me a long time, but I got cleaning done yesterday - I think today I might try and do some little things I've been wanting to do - like I bought some of those vacuum bags where you can put a quilt in, suck out the air with a vacuum cleaner, and it takes up a lot less room - so I thought I would do that for a few things.  I need to do my regular workout AND a run today - so we'll see how THAT goes!  lol    And yes our opening is very strange - it changes daily.   I am so torn on what to think any more - I DO think some of it is overkill.  I don't understand why you can go in a department store like Wal

Good morning honey!!   You have done so much work - wow!  I get tired reading.   I'm sure it feels good to have gotten things accomplished.    It looks like things might be starting to open up a little bit this week - so I have a feeling I'll be back at my little store within 2 weeks - so I better get some things done!  It's only 2 days/week so it's not like I can't do things.  lol    I just need some darn energy - and this asthma thing is really kicking my butt this week - can't wait until all the trees are done coming out etc.    I'm hoping to plant a few flowers this weekend - I need LOTS of cayenne pepper.  I'm finding that really works in keeping Annie away from the plants.   I bought a few flowers that are out on the porch - I haven't planted them in the ground yet but I sprinkled the pepper on them and Annie hasn't touched them at all!  Amazing!   Do you have to work today?
