Hello Ed, yes I did make it official re. retirement.  There is  a shortage of teachers here and it was not good news for the Principal.  However, I feel happy about my decision. It is really time for me to retire. 71 next Feb.  And the idea of not looking after 2 houses is bliss.  I will miss the children.  However, I must let go. I may hear the results of the game as I am snuggled in bed reading with the radio on. Enjoy your day.

Just a litle golf update--the RBC Canadian open was great--Canadian won for the first time in probably half a century(Nic Taylor) felt sory for Fleetwood and he lost in the playoff. The US Open was a farce(nice Wyndam Clark won) but the coverage was atrosious and the fan support was terrible and it wasn't run very well and the course was??? and I didn't watch a lot of it--started about 1:30 and they were trying to finish at !!:00 pm our time.

I don't really know the details about Sue, Ed. I did hear that she had a heart attack though. I only hope it was swift for her and she knew nothing about it. I miss her so much, and all the fun we had with our silly games. xx

Ed, I am somewhat shattered today. Late this afternoon I found out in a school meeting that a parent had been killed. Stabbed. I know her well and her 2 sons.  They are all lovely people. Shattered.

I have just had the following reply from FL Support about Sue's obituary, which has been removed.: "Unfortunately we have had issues in the past with people posting incorrect information about a player's passing, but as a general rule we will remove any threads created about another person".

Hello Ed and Sandra. That would have been difficult for you to learn  about Tom. At least his parents are now sharing this with you and that would have been difficult for them. So called anti social behaviour is so much a part of this. It really means that the person is not coping with social situations. one of the best books that I have read is, 'Don't Look Me In The Eye.' I have applied this when speaking to students on the spectrum. I sit quietly next to them and then we speak.  No eye contact! One of my former students is now sitting IB exams in year 12. He always greets me. And just a heads up, the chap who created the guitar for Kiss, that explodes in fire is on the Spectrum. They have creative thinking!

Dear Ed, you should call your bank about that. Hopefully they can sort it. Meanwhile, I came home school and somewhat energised re gardening. I did spend some time in the garden, not a lot. However, I am pleased. It has been a lovely Spring day here! Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, well I always knew that we came from England. I will have to google Woodbridge. My Grandfather's side came from Sue's part of the UK. Now I am going to google Woodbridge.

Hello Ed, I just googled Convict records. Facinating. It seems that my Great Grandfather was a bit of a character?  Born in Woodbridge. Seems like a great place to start my story. Feel free to look at the records. Cheers.
