Hello my dear friend, I am sending all my best wishes and hopes that you and your dad and your family have peace and comfort this Christmas.  I know it will not only be different, but also hard and sad and not what you have cherished in the past.  I hope so much that you and your dad especially are able to find some light and that beginning the new normal helps you find a way forward even as you are so sad.  Thinking of you and your family and sending prayers every day for all of you.

When you celebrate Christmas with your Dad you will be establishing new traditions. My suggestion would be to think about how you would like to help your Dad, you and your family through this 1st Christmas without your Mom. You might choose to go to a nice Chinese Restaurant for your meal; add a new dish to your home menu; Pull out photo albums and home movies; all kinds of things to consider. You might also ask your wife and kids to think of things.  My thoughts are with you all.
