Dear Keith,
My Mother hung on until Bill's and my daughter got married. She didn't get to go to the wedding, but our pastor brought one of the large bouquets of flowers to the hospital and my brother (who had filmed the ceremony) allowed me to keep the VCR tape he made just long enough for her to see it. The hospital staff brought in a TV and VCR player and Cindy and her husband Carl came and gave Momma the bouquet. The nurses who could attend the "special" service rejoiced that Momma was able to witness the ceremony in this way. The following day, I went to see Momma and she was totally different. That nght I sat with her all night. She kept rising up in bed telling me that  she had to go to work. Finally I told her, "No, Momma, you can go to Heaven now and rest with our Lord Jesus." She went to sleep and passed the next morning. The human spirit is astounding. It sounds like your Momma is just like that. You will be able to rejoice with her some day in a better place where there will never be any more sickness. I'm praying for you and your Dad, dear Friend.
