Hey Retta 👋, yes THR was Posterior & yes the previous pain I was having so far seems to have gone.... There is surgical pain but, not as bad as I was expecting (for me).... Everyone I had spoken to had said,  " You Won't Regret It!! " .... I'm now, today, 7 days Post-Op & Honestly, there's still a good bit of swelling & some pain; what folks didn't tell me was, the Day of surgery wasn't to bad, had a nerve block & still under anstisha. They had me up & walking the Day of Surgery now, (even the surgical coordinator told me , day 2&3 were going to be the worse!!) & it was🤨 Day 4 was better until a long walk to go for 1st PT appointment, after 3-4 hrs after, it was getting better again.   Do you already have surgery scheduled??

²⁹ hey My Friend, just got home from a Nurse only visit & 1st Actual PT visit today; nurse s amazed how well I've done so-far & therapist graduated me from a type of walker to a cane 😁 everything is looking awesome to only be 1 week poat-op 🫶
