Hello Marie. Nice to have a Husband who cooks (even if he eats it himself) my Husband could just about fry an egg. He lived on them when I visited my Daughter in California :)x

Awww well done on all those cakes. I cooked beetroot today, not nearly as glamorous! Had quite a restful day today, after a drive to Southampton yesterday for a business event, which was worth the trip! Cut some hydrangea and iris seed heads that had dried out in the garden and arranged them artistically in a vase!!!! Very pleased with result! Young friend called round for a catch up and a cuppa this afternoon, which was fab!

Oh don't feel bad about the off loading I've done, I'm not nearly finished. I realized even if we don't move permanently to Idaho, say we only buy property to visit when we need to get away, all of this needs to be done, I don't want to leave it to Felicity ...I've been clearly marking the containers so anyone would know approx. what's inside including me. I do need a bigger storage shed but I'll have to store some inside the porch or get rid of more stuff, a bit of both it seems. I'm hoping to give something to charity as well. Feels good to know it's gone, my shed looks nice & tidy.
Well that's about it here, dinner's soon for Dan as I'm not the least bit hungry seen starting the new round of anti b's, god I hate these things, never sure how I'll react these days.
Off I go to take my chocolate salted caramel brownies out of the oven, love the smell of Chocolate.
Enjoy your book, & shopping tomorrow..I hope the weather has improved. Love & Hugs from me here to you there

I can't believe how much is in bloom or getting ready to burst forward over the next few weeks, I have planted a ton of bulbs & they are showing themselves with greenery & now buds, my paper whites are everywhere just like I wanted, but I see areas I would love for them to be next year, along with more freesias, anemones and tulips. I can't believe the Cali Poppies that are popping up everywhere, it will take me a couple day to thin them out to where I'd be okay with them maturing. Dan calls them the Cali weed I call them sunshine on our corner right along with the daisies, lavender, irises & 4 o'clocks. It's one of the best things about planting natives & drought resistant plants they look Mother Nature in the face & say that's the best you got, the bulbs are hardy enough to bloom 1st then everything else & there is a lot this yr. Cheryl went Crazy planting for Monarch Butterflies, I can't wait for them to come back.

Thank you so much for the gems! I really appreciate your kindness. I've done what you advised and changed the alerts. There;'s nothing very exciting at the moment as I'm trying to level up, but I think I will try the new candy flowers! Thanks again; you're a star!
