Hey you! Sorry I wasn't around yesterday was one of those days!

Luke didn't have the best day celebrating his 20th! He had to work and (probably due to the heat) several people just didn't show up. He was left to handle a job he didn't know how to do with another young man in the same boat. Management are conspicuous by their absence of a weekend and the supposed shift manager disappeared right when they needed help. They did the best they could with what they did know but have put in a pre-emptive complaint anyway. He loved his gifts and birthday cookies, which he chose over a cake this year and he has the rest of the week off starting tomorrow, his first days off since December 1st. We've all moved to our bedrooms as it's currently cooler upstairs! Look after yourself if your temperatures have crept back up.again and have a good day xx

Hey you! We have most definitely been hit by the heatwave they were warning about, 30 today and almost unbearable, we even put the baby gate up so we could have the front door open for a through draft. No gardening again for me other than watering with my wonderful new hose - soaked the dogs too 🤣🤣 they weren't happy! Got to go and hunt down Luke's birthday pressies to wrap as my baby boy leaves his teenage years behind! How did that happen? So mad that theres been no word from the sperm donor, although in truth I'm not surprised  as there was no contact at Christmas either. Dick.Hope you've had a fab start to your weekend lovelie and enjoyed day TWO of your FIVE days off 🤣🤣🤣

Hey you! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your day off, did the Beast sleep all day after his walk in the Park? It's too hot to take the puplets as the one thing that let's the dog field down? No shade whatsoever and they'd literally run until they dropped. No garden for me again, well not until about 8pm when mum, Luke and I did the bird feeders - at this rate my Morning Glory will be climbing the greenhouse frame!! Either that or I need to garden at 3am and sleep at 3pm!! Watched the latest Bridget Jones movie (not sure if it would have hit the US) and really enjoyed it. Setting up for The Accountant II tomorrow night. Night, night, sleep well and dream sweet xx

Hey you! Didn't make it out the garden today, between the wind and the heat I'd have put myself in hospital 🙄 I had a few pennies left over from my the sperm donor's money this month so I treated myself to a Waitrose shop and a few goodies for everyone. I figure I don't drink (can't) and don't smoke anymore so why not. Couple of slices of Gala Pie to have with fresh tomatoes gor lunch, Sushi, Feta Cheese, Baclava for Luke, Custard Tarts for mum, special ham.and Cheese for dad and some ring, sugared donuts. Happy days LOL. I also treated myself to the last Bridget Jones movie on Prime Rental as it was marked down to £2.99... last of the big spenders 😂😂😂 Have a fantastic FIVE days off, enjoy those FIVE days off, not everyone can have FIVE days off so have fun!!

Hey you! Woke up to a cool (and quite breezy) morning (I have my bedroom windows open and what actually woke me was being 'attacked' by my curtains almost blowing off the damn curtain rail!!). It's probably too windy for me to be able to breathe okay but, if not, it's perfect weather for finishing my planter. Mum's done some pots with my leftover Verbena and Busy Lizzies, they look cute now but will look fantastic when they're in full bloom. Don't work too hard today, remember those 5 days off!!! Be good xx

If you use that then click the Guide to Fairyland link, there's the option to go to their old site.  Perhaps the links there will work better for you :)
