I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels tossed them down
Oh, how I loved that story!

He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.

Hope your week is going well. Gosh what a busy Sunday you had  a whirlwind start to the day !
You are a true friend to help the way you did in picking the passport up.and driving them in to the airport . Hope you got your feet up and relaxed when you got home !
We are having some bright autumn days which is lovely - making the most of them as it's due to change next week.
You asked me if my daughters lived nearby , yes they are only a short drive away from us. Our granddaughters are staying over from Thursday eve as Rachel and Geoff are away on a trip to Lisbon.
