Good night splash!
It was a nice day today, a bit breezy but the sun was out most of the day. I went up and saw Johns dad this morning, his mom was there too and we all had a good visit. Later in the afternoon I went over to Johns moms and we started some seeds in her greenhouse. I put in ornamental glass corn, I’ve never seen it before. It’s multi coloured, pink, purple, blue etc. I hope it grows and produces so I can try it and see what it would be good for. Maybe chicken food, maybe popcorn, maybe just pretty to look at! I also started regular sweet corn and purple cabbage. I helped Angela with her marigolds and morning glory, we usually start more things but we were both so tired we had to go in for a sandwich. I might get some broccoli and cauliflower but will likely just buy plants from the garden centre. I’ll plant carrots, beans, pea, potatoes, zucchini, radishes and Swiss chard straight in the garden. I might start some celery soon too.

By the sound of it you might need some flippers by the end of next week. Hopefully it’s a nice slow soaker rain so you don’t have too much flooding. I wish I had a gardener, I’m always a slow starter when I’m trying to do yard work, I never know quite where to start for what I want the end result to look like. I tend to wing it and hope for the best. Have a good sleep!
