Did alright o  the quizzes. Seems like the eind has dropped. Liz has got a Wednesday crossing.  It will mean missing two days of work. They are very understanding though. Can't get across with no boats.

Good morning splash--another beautiful day in store for us,a little fresh first thing in the morning but then warms nicely(sometimes a little to much and we get muggy) I am sure that Tracey's cats are just basking in the attention and they wouldn't be like that if they didn't feel like they could. Cats are funny creatures in that the attention has to be on their terms. I had golf last night--the end of the Procore tournament--Sheffler is off and running again but his win was only by one shot. and the ladies should make you happy as Hull won it when the other lady sort of fell apart on the last hole. Lots to try and catch up on for me as I just let everything slide yesterdaysmall things just didn't seem to go right so I just shelved everything and did nothing. Hope you have a good walk and have a good day.

Just read what Diuanne wrote and don't think anyone wants Sagwa sleeping on them anymore--it a lot of weight.

Thank you Ed for your reassuring words. Time will tell how they will react. I am  avoiding looking at my emails. I will hopefully put it out of my mind tonight and snuggle with a book and a cat or two. I guess that you still have the cats. The photo of the cat sitting on Sanrda made me smile. It looks like a big heavy cat. Somewhat similar to Mindy and perhaps Diane's Sagwa?  Haha, I don't think that you have ever told me the cats names, nor their breed. Mungo is a ginger and white cat with no breed to his name. Mindy is unfortunately part Bengal Tiger, although she doesn't really act like one. She is fat and lazy. All she cares about is me giving her food and sometimes during the night she snuggles next to me. Speaking about snuggling.... I have a book waiting for me and no prizes for guessing what I am going to do in the next few minutes. Have a great day.

Hello ED, I enjoyed the Monday Morning Coffee Club today. I shared my problem re. my neighbour next door wanting to put up a wooden fence and expecting me to pay half. $4550. It is a long fence. The Coffee Club all agreed that if the existing fence is fine then I do not have pay anything. My neighbour across the road also told me the same thing and Sarah sent me an official site regarding fencing and who has to pay. If the existing fence is sound I can refuse. It is and I did. I don't want to be boxed in by high fences blocking out my view of the coastal trees. If I wanted to be boxed in by fences I could have remained in Thornbury. The neighbours house is a holiday house. I really like them however this may make our relationship strained. They want to replace the fence and I don't. I have lost sleep over this. However I have told them, by email, that I cannot afford it as I have higher priorities to spend my money on. The ball is now in their court. If they really want to box themselves in they are going to have to pay for it. I will let you know wht transpires.

I must admit, if I wrote my memoirs,  only the good bits will go in.
Very soggy bbq yesterday. We stayed outside under the gazebo as long as possible.  Jim's sister refused to bring the cake out, so we had to go in for that.
Liz and Ed are in the lake district. All this wind has meant they can't get back across at the moment.

Morning splash--Another nice sunny start to the day and it is what you call fresh at the moment but will warm up again later. Yesterday it was almost turn on the a/c as it got quite muggy. I have a feeling that tracy was more enthralled with the surroundings that the baseball game--a lot of people are as that is quite the stadium and since they just redid it there is lots to see besides what is on the playing field and the atmoshere is really electric in there. Today I have a few small chores to get to(didn't get to them yesterday as was on the phone again)and then hopefully get a supper that I can get to eat. Have a good Sunday
