Hi Izy :) was cloudy this morning and got a sprinkle of rain as I left eaton fair. Not enough to wet the ground tho sadly. I'm very happy it's not as hot as yesterday.. only got the ceiling fans on rather than the aircon. I'm not liking the idea of summer either Izy :/

I was wondering about it Izy lol Having had jojo where I lived many years ago I know what it looks like. People confuse it with the normal daisy as they look alike. I think I know the weed you're talking about with the yellow flower growing in the shrubs.. they are a common weed, if it's the one I'm thinking of. The husband is always complaining about the weeds lol

Just one root on it.. that's odd lol Can't you just pull that root out of the ground? Pour salt on it.. that's good for killing weeds I've read.

There are two types with the same daisy flower.. one has the dreaded prickles and the other is just a flower/weed. I've lived in a couple of places, years ago, that had the rotten things growing. Have to spray them before the prickles come out, from memory.. something like that lol The seeds can blow in from neighbouring properties and start growing at yours, and they can be transported by sharing a lawn mower if the mower isn't washed after use on lawn that has them. They are a nightmare weed!

That bloody jojo is a menace isn't it.. and hard to get rid of without spraying a few times. Hurts like hell in ya feet. I hope he managed to kill it all. I can see my palms moving in the breeze but it's not gusty wind thank goodness lol

I hope your gardener made it today for you.. it was pretty windy here yesterday and the wind has picked up this arvo. Wasn't any earlier this morning. It's quite warm here this arvo so the breeze is nice. Can't believe you had no wind there yesterday lol

Another house invasion.. sounds like a nightmare Izy. Something like that would do my head in lol But definitely not worth wasting your energy on giving other's the satisfaction of knowing they're really not welcome LOL

Wow Izy, what a lovely person that fairy is.. such a nice gift for both of your gardens. Just goes to show that there are still some very wonderful people in the world. Restores faith in humans doesn't it :)
