Morning Grace...I have to say every thing about Canada is extreme.  Some of the distances you mention are mind boggling to me.  And don't even get me started on the temperatures.  My hubby is my best friend's cousin.  I lost her some years back we started school together and it was a real shock when she passed.  It was sudden and unexpected.  We were on holiday here in Ireland and her Aunt set us up on date with Eddie and his friend Noel.  We weren't really bothered about it we actually had dates arranged the night we were to meet them but her Aunt was having none of it.  So we met up with them and the rest is history.  I moved to Ireland and lived with Eddie's family for 2 years before we got married.  It was a very happy time for me my inlaws are the best.  I was dreadfully home sick but I know to this day Eddie would never have settled in the UK.  I have never fainted in my life.  I have felt really ill but not actually passed out.  I am a tough old cookie lol.  But when I read your temps I am not surprised to see you have.  Enjoy your walk and have a lovely day xxxx
