Thanks for the iguana and enchanted forest emerald!
Well the week wasn’t exactly as I’d planned.
I too the truck in for the safety inspection and it took a few days longer than I thought it would. I was glad to be there though as James had a small accident at work. He was on the night shift and was helping move a big motor thing that weighs a couple hundred pounds, it rolled back and crushed his hand between it and the metal grate floor. He will lose the nails on his index, middle and ring fingers of his right hand. His middle finger is broken. He went to the hospital and the dr froze his hand, punctured all the nails to relieve the pressure and splinted his finger, so essentially he’s got no right hand for a while. I feel so bad for him, I wish I could have stayed with him longer but there’s not much I can do for him. Johns dad was better today than yesterday so we’ll just have to wait and see what the next week brings. We left the hospital with Johns mom and we went for supper with her, she’s doing ok but is very worried.
I hope you and Jim don’t freeze, lol! This coming week might bring some nasty weather and you’ll really miss that boiler! I guess northern Alberta was slammed hard yesterday, the highway to Fort McMurray was closed because the snow was too much. It’s time for rain, not snow!
