Good evening Lizzy and thanks for your concern. Having a cataract op. really isn't as bad as you might presume. Perhaps a bit uncomfortable, but is done under a local anaesthetic delivered in eye drops. Definitely not really anything to worry about if you are ever in this situation. My very best wishes. xx
