Hi Evelyn, I don't know if supermarkets have always been like that about Christmas but again it shouldn't be taken out of the workers holiday. The store is not open so it should be an extra holiday. When I worked in a children's nursery, we had all Bank Holidays off and it was not taken from our holiday. Mind you we only had 2 weeks off a year so maybe that was why Lol. I don't blame Colin for not wanting to go to work if his hip was hurting. Glad you've had no more snow. This weather makes me want to hibernate x
