The one thing I really liked was being able to dump candies from the GH but I wouldn’t have minded waiting to put them in my garden first. I know some use the free Alice tea set because you can dump from GH. Other than those two, I really hate it. I’ve heard so many lose their pots. My friend lost her Easter chick pots last year.  I doubt they’ll change the rules. It’s a game for us but it’s a money maker for them.

Hi Evelyn, I’m all good now, glad your cold has gone too. I think my cold wasn’t a cold but symptoms due to the UTI as soon as the antibiotics kicked in my sore throat and cold disappeared. Our friends did stay with us after all and we had a good couple of days.
It’s a pain about your vase and I don’t understand eith why when you ditch a plant from the greenhouse the pot goes too? Why can’t they change it to you just take the plant out and put the pot in storage. I can understand why you are annoyed.
Im doing the advanced quest but I need a Jackdaw Chick and I’m having trouble attracting them as I haven’t got a Jackdaw nest! I had 2 lots of Dwarf gems but they only attracted Magpies so I’m waiting for a white gem to be RFH now. It’s such a palaver!
I went to the gym today, I’m trying to get back into it but it’s hard. I still keep thinking of better things do instead of going to the gym lol.
I’m meeting my sisters for a meal on Saturday, the months seem to come round so fast.
Have you any plans for the weekend?
Peter started a new job yesterday, an IT Consultant, he’s enjoying it so far but it means less time in the gym for him.

Oh, that’s sucks. I find that support has really changed. They used to replace things discarded. I once accidentally harvested my dulcia when I was doing tops and they immediately turned my new plant RFH. I think it’s easier for them and less work for them to say no. Really unfortunate as there was so much work that went into getting that vase.

Morning Evelyn, sorry you have a cold, I have too but it doesn’t sound as bad as yours. I have cystitis as well, I am on antibiotics for that. I haven’t used Vick for years, it used to be good for clearing your nose but sounds as if it’s not so good now. Hope you got a better night’s sleep last night.
I used my free SF at the beginning of last month so I’ve been using my own for the extincts to push up my diamond count as I’m getting a bit low.
I have 2 friends staying over for a couple of days tomorrow but they might not want to with my cold, I’ll give them a choice as Kate has a lower immune system. They’re going to a funeral on Monday locally to us so they’ll probably stay in a hotel if they don’t come here.
I wonder if any more vases will come out next month and wonder if there is an award for completing them? I haven’t seen anything about it.

Hi Evelyn, it is a worrying time for us both, hospital rang again today, they said they would rung back in an hour with results from his scan last Friday. Rather a quick time to get results, so worrying again. So sorry you are full of cold, have you tried putting the Vicks on the sole of your feet, and popping a pair of socks on overnight. It works well, as does eating fresh pineapple if available. How lovely you have a friend coming to stay for a few days. Gosh Snowdrops not seen any in years, first sign of Spring isnt it. We are off to get new Mobility scooters tomorrow ours are being temperamental only work now and then. Seem our previous spending a lot was no guarantee of quality. So we are buying cheap ones this time. I hope you feel better soon Hun xx

Hi Evelyn, sorry to hear you are full of cold. It's so annoying when products are changed, I've used Vicks from when I was a child and I'm ok so I don't know why they've changed. I noticed the one I bought didn't smell the same as years ago. I do hate that congested feeling. I hope you feel better soon. I'm at the age that I like my footwear to feel like I'm wearing a pair of slippers when outside and I don't care if they don't look fashionable Lol. I was surprised that some of the hotel rooms don't have windows and are not cheap. I hope you manage to find a suitable hotel x
