OMG, thank goodness Elizabeth has Colin watching out for her! The Building Standards Officer needs to get round there before they cover their tracks. How fortunate that Elizabeth could afford to wait for the insurance company to pay her, not everyone is in such a position - imagine if she had had to go without food or heating just to pay the rent and council tax. Makes my blood boil, no one should be treated like that but particularly an OAP.
(I have always felt like that not just because I am one myself now LOL).
Yes, the scan on Arthur is to see what's going on inside. The vet I saw a couple of months ago seemed to think that his bladder isn't in the normal place. Maybe he has a problem with his kidneys? It's going to be interesting to see what they find.
I cleared out a few shelves by selling some pots -that I would probably have ditched anyway so may as well get a bit of gold for them. I think I still have a few up for sale but that's ok, they may go nearer the summer as they are those beach hut pots. I will probably put the vegetables up sometime as I'm not keen on them.
Got to dash, see you later xx

Hi Evelyn and thank you very much, that info is just what I need. I wish I could use this months free superfood on Nightingales but I missed them and I'm on Jackdaws this week. I might have to do "something completely different" for a couple of days to use the superfood LOL. So many baby uni's getting missed, I was just 2 minutes late to spot one of my own just now grrrrr.
Still incredibly cold here but dry at least.
We have dads bungalow on the market and have had 3 viewings with 3 or 4 more tomorrow. I hope we can get some interest and maybe push the price up a bit although whoever gets it will need to spend quite a lot on it. I have put his riser/recliner chair on Marketplace and have someone coming to view it on Tuesday.
That puppy has landed on his feet! Strange that the original owners are being funny about giving him up though. There's more to that than meets the eye I'm sure. Will he be a working dog or a pet?

I took Arthur to the vets again yesterday. I have him booked in for an x-ray and ultrasound on Monday plus she found a hernia she needs to repair. God knows how much that will cost but we can't go on as he is.
It's taken a time to get Elizabeth's property repaired! Is Colin supervising? LOL Have you spoken to Elizabeth lately, she must be getting homesick.
Charlie is off at his friend's tonight, it's "Film night". The boys - up to about 8 of them - rotate houses on Fridays. Our turn will be in a couple of weeks time. They are all lovely lads but a bit noisy and all those large bodies take over the place. Much safer to have them indoors though and know where they are.
Have a lovely weekend xx

A lot of people are still working on the tops, Alice and even the candy plants and it is probably good to give them time to make progress before popping something big and new on them. I think Mike has a lot of room to put some new life into these lesser holidays like Valentines and St. Pat. It would be welcome. I have been bored with Valentines since the first year.

I'm beginning to think the new pots will be in conjunction with holidays. It would be nice to have something for first day of spring and particularly for Valentines. Those holidays really need some updating.
