Morning Dianne, Metroland is now done & dusted. I'm no prude but I don't need to know some of the stuff in the book. One publisher said it was more like a biography & there is no plot. It's just two chaps life story from age sixteen to thirty. I'm proud I ploughed through it. So now I'm into a audio book by the same author. It's called Elizabeth Finch. It's well over my head as I'm just a simple soul. But once again I'll plough on. The author is obviously a intellectual. Don't understand some of the words. lol. When I saw him interviewed on tv he seemed just an ordinary bloke. That's what attracted me to read his books. In the back of the book he has all the correspondence from publishers who turned the book down. Unusual. My turn to hit the sack. But not before I've finished a cruise around Italy. In this programme they are having a meal containing Mauve Prawns which have turned out pink. What's all that about? Have a happy Tuesday.
