Morning Diane well a much needed sleep in this morning it has cooled to 19 here overcast & breezy so that will be good for the day!
am looking forward to the retirement party this afternoon more now its cooler too! be nice to see some older colleagues who also retired in last 3 yrs too!
will get my few jobs done this morning before i shower to get ready to go out
glad nurse got in ok sounds like intercom is all good now shame they could not let you know though!
Kevin said he was off early hope they have a good time hopefully there is air con there too!
well best get moving i did not get out of bed till 9.30!

Hi Diane...I use to worry about falling asleep in the day as well.  But I have always been a good sleeper and I often just fell asleep wouldn't realise it was happening while I watch the telly  Would just wake up and a different programme would be on or the credits would be rolling.  Can be annoying a times lol.  Yesterday though I was very tired and knew I would have no trouble sleeping last night as well.  I hope Sagwa lets you catch up on your sleep.  It's good if you can do that.  Have a lovely weekend and  enjoy your golf! xxx

Morning Diane, drastic change in the weather here. Gone from 28c to15c overnight. Hence I'm wearing winter clobber & wondering what to do toOne of those old ones with dolls eyes day as I'm now used to being outside scratching around. You sound like you should have a switch board installed. One of those old dolls eye ones would be a show piece. I used to operate one of those when I was in the RAF. We had a eight position one. Was fun. We also have a house phone. I always tell peeps to call on my house phone if you want an answer. As I'm not often near my mobile. Once again last night I was split between cricket & golf. I was pleasantly surprised to see Bob Macintyre shot another 64. I hope I get the chance to eat my words about his ability to keep his cool over four rounds. I know he has managed it before but to me he looks fragile.  I did notice for the first time the survivors start on zero next week in the big one. Will make it far more interesting..Hope all is well with you, have a sporty Saturday..

Hello Diane, I don't have a land line phone here although I could buy one. I only have a mobile and half the time I am not sure where I left it as I am not attached to it unlike a lot of folk. It always amazes me how people walk around gazing at their mobiles. And in resturants I see couples looking at their phones rather than talking to each other. I am having a quiet at home day. Enjoy your new day with Sagwa.

Nite hug ,,rained all day here,,so Smokey foggy. Awful outside,,so sorry for peo in fire area,,had nap stayed home this aft,,good nurse came for you,,is door system fixed,,  all ok my garbage pickup in morning so got stuff together,,,hope to get my groc tomorrow,,see how that goes then,,good you have your a/c saves the day for you and furbaby,,have good nite.
