No none of my friends have been to see Elvis I truly wished that I had instead of getting married, I was with the Elvis Fan Club I have still got all the monthly magazines that I used to have sent to me.......& had been saving up to see him, then along came my husband to be so money fizzled out on wedding etc., always thought would be able to go another time, little did I know back then that he would die so young.....
When I was at the cinema on Monday there was a older chap I was talking to (probably same age as me lol!) he went to Graceland two years ago & said it was the best trip ever he had the full package........ he would go again but not while the orange face is around....... likewise I said maybe when it is safe to go to USA in a couple of years I hope to save enough to go........
I think we all live with regrets should have! should not have! etc. but I would say not ever seeing Elvis live even if he would be a tiny dot on the stage is something I regret the most because who knows what my life would have been if I had took the right turn instead of the left !! xx
