The gasoline is going up here, too.  It was a bit higher because of the fire at the station in California.  It had to be brought in from another location.  Gasoline in Ohio is much cheaper until recently.  Hopefully the situation will be remedied sooner than later. 

I was busy this afternoon preparing the chicken for the oven.  I like to drag the chicken breasts through egg and milk wash, toss them into a zip lock bag that I've put cracker crumbs in, then drizzle with butter.  375 degrees for an hour and 10 minutes.  We also had watermelon balls with dinner and some sort of noodle/broccoli concoction that you add water, milk, and a tablespoon of butter.  It turned out better than I thought it would.  After the clean up I finished the jigsaw!  :)  Well, better put it on facebook so you can see it.  Thanks a lot.  It was so much fun!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for the Gecko.  :)  Glad you found a jigsaw today.  Guess what?  I finished the Craft Shed!  Took a picture of it and will post it very soon!  It was so much fun probably because of the theme.  :)   

Roses usually do pretty good out here.  I had some at the first house on Lucky Bamboo.  The guy who lived there first must have planted them or had them planted.  Some of the houses in our neighborhood have roses and they are beautiful.  But then again, they might have them included with their watering system.  Mine out back will have to be hand watered.  I thought even if it only makes it a year, it will be worth it to have some pretty roses.
