🐦⬛❄️🐦⬛❄️🐦⬛ -- Splash💦
Hi, Janet! It's taken me a while to respond after splashing your garden! Had to sew the bear's arm on Randy's toy. We'll see how long it lasts. It's been "Repair Shop" here, too!
Trying to sort out those drawers. Ugh! There are three that have a mishmash of things in them....some sentimental. Ran across a letter my real dad sent to me. He put an article in there about a guy who lived on Linwood, next block up from his dad's house, named Bill Said. He was a gorilla hunter and gave Columbus "Colo". Bill Said was a dare devil. He went back to Africa and got killed in a Jeep accident at age 26. Anyway, Colo, the gorilla was always talked about and the Columbus Zoo. My dad had nice handwriting. I didn't even see him from the time I was maybe 12-13 (now and then on Sundays) years old until he was dying in a hospital from stomach/esophagus cancer in 1989. Ran across my Stepdad's honorable discharge papers from WWII. He was in the coast guard. Lots of memories in those drawers. I did throw away a bag of things and have another started. It was tiring. LOL
